Kerry Kerns

Kerry Kearns, got her first bite of the film bug while working as a television news Producer at a t-v station in Pennsylvania. While her full time career was working behind the camera, her passion was to be in front of it. When her co-workers started working on their first independent film, "Deadroll" , they asked her if she wanted to get on board. She jumped at the chance and ended up being cast as the lead. After a year of filming on weekends, the hard work paid off. "Deadroll" premiered at a local theater and later went on to win Best Full Feature at the Pocono Mountains Film Festival in Pennsylvania.

In the midst of all the film excitement, Kerry moved to Baltimore to continue her full time career in news. While news didn't make her happy, it paid the bills. A year later, while living and working in Maryland, Kerry stumbled upon another film gig online from Sorry Dog Productions. A horror flick with a bunch of girls being chased in the mountains of West Virginia, it was called Sorority House Slaughter 7. Kerry auditioned through a video in the mail and after several weeks, she got an email and then a call from Scott Martin that she was cast. She played the lead of "Amber". While on set, the rush and excitement of acting overwhelmed her. For once in her life she found her passion.

After the film wrapped up, she decided to move past her career in television news and pursue her dream as a full time actress. Since Sorority House Slaughter, Kerry is gearing up for several other projects, including another horror film "Pretty Little Playthings" which will be filmed in Richmond, VA late 2007 early 2008.
