Attila Domos has a very wide range of influences in music. Early in childhood he was brought into a world of music by his parents, both of whom
were musicians in the Oradea Philharmonic Orchestra in Romania. He had a strict classical piano start, but with a lot of curiosity also found his
way into Jazz and Rock.
He was a member of the world famous "Vienna Boys Choir" in his youth, before his family and he moved to the United States.
America is where Attila got involved in Jazz Trumpet and excelled at every level well ahead of his years.
Attila always liked composing music more
then just playing the classics and as a result ended up at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA as a classical piano major and a voice minor. After one year
of college, Attila quit to follow his dreams, to be a "Rock Star" As luck would have it, Attila achieved his goal of securing a recording deal with an indy label
from Cleveland, but as fate would have it he broke his back the same night in a falling accident that left him paralyzed from the waist down.
Naturally
the record deal fell through and he found himself abandoned by many of the same people who've been supporting him on his way to the top. Left with no where to go,
Attila spent the next decade just writing music and sharpening his writing skills. Being a huge movie buff, Attila turning to composing music for film happened quite by chance.
A friend he'd lost touch with over the years called him out of the blue and asked if he could write some music for some corporate video's he was making. This of course was a natural fit
and Attila realized that this is what he was born to do. .
Writing for film allowed him much more freedom to create then writing for any record company. He took to
it like a duck to water and hasn't looked back since. In 2006 he hooked up with Sorry Dog once again by chance via the internet. Scott was looking for someone
to score a new film and Attila was looking for work. The two have been working together ever since, complimenting each other and getting better with every
project. It does seem like it's just a matter of time...
